Aeroflow Performances NYA enkel pumps kompakta Surge / Catch tank är idealisk för bränslesystem som kräver en enkel  Aeroflow / Bosch bränslepump. Dessa smarta små tankar är utformade för att ha bränslepumpen nedsänkt i bränslet för tystare gång och längre livslängd för bränslepumpen. Tankarna har -8 ORB anslutningar för en säker tätning och det gör många alternativ att koppla bränslesystemet tillgängliga, Den är utformad för att passa Ø60mm bränslepumpar som tex Aeroflows AFW49-1014 eller Bosch 044 pumpar. Tanken kan monteras i motorrummet för att minska arbetet och kostnaden för bränslesystemet då man slipper dra ledningar hela vägen bakifrån. Den kommer i svart anodiserad finish, den svarta anodiseringen rekommenderas för användning med frätande bränslen som etanol och metanol. Tanken är 5" (130mm) x 5" (130mm) x 6,3" (160mm). 2,3 liter är volymen med en pump monterad! Fästet har ett cc mått på 6-3/8" (162mm)

This alloy weld in top/bottom plate and screws are the same design in the Aeroflow Performance EFI pump compact surge tanks AF77-3244. This will allow the user to custom make a surge tank to suit their specific application. The user can choose between running the Bosch style 044 fuel pump (AF49-1014) or use our 40mm conversion fuel pump hanger (AF59-5244BLK) for the smaller 40mm internal fuel pumps.

These Aeroflow Performance Surge Tanks are designed to prevent starving the fuel pump by increasing the fuelling capability of the fuel system. It is usually installed in vehicles that potentially can experience fuel starvation due to fuel sloshing around in an inadequately baffled fuel tank/cell. While this can occur in any vehicle when the tank is not fully filled, it is more frequent in vehicles subject to violent changes in directions such as autocross, off-road, drag racing and other types of racing that involve high g-force. The primary fuel pump in the vehicle's main fuel tank will no longer directly feed the engine. Instead, the internal fuel pump will now be used to fill and maintain the level of fuel in the surge tank itself. Using a surge tank will now require new external fuel pump/s to be installed after the tank to supply fuel to the engine.These compact Single EFI surge tanks are designed to work with any 40mm diameter fuel pumps such as AF49-1057 or AF49-1042 (Sold Separately). These smart little tanks are designed to have fuel pumps submerged in fuel for a quieter operation and longer life of the fuel pump. Utilizing a billet single 40mm pump hanger with a -6AN male for the feed, 3 x -8ORB Ports for return/feed and two electrical terminal bulkheads. The tank itself is robotically TIG welded with 2.5mm thick aluminium.The tank is available in either Polished or Black anodised finishes. Black anodised is recommended for Ethanol or Methanol fuel systems.
